So why is MI different?

Mission Interact is.....
  • Intentionally serving in the neighborhoods and school districts of the students so that they can forge strong bonds with fellow Christians (Eccl 4:12).
  • Intentionally bringing believers of different denominations together, because Christ intended for us all to be one (John 17:21).
  • Intentionally worshipping at different churches each night to show the greater Kingdom that God intended. (John 17:21-23)
  • Intentionally on mission locally, fostering a heart for global missions by exposing students to those hurting and without hope, the lost and the dark in their own Jerusalem (Acts 1:8).
  • Intentional, INTERACTING Christians

Volunteer Credit for High School Students

Seminole County School Board now lists Mission Interact as an "approved" community service organization. Plan now with your school counselor so that you can apply your service with MI to your required goal. Orange County and Volusia County also recognize Mission Interact service time. High School students can receive 25 hours for the week of MI5.
Mission Interact is a 501c3, non-profit organization. Your support is a blessing to our mission and is fully tax deductible. Your time, prayers, and sponsorship help make this a "Kingdom come" place to live.

MI5 High School
July 22-28, 2012

BASE CAMP - First Baptist Oviedo.
This 7 day, 6 night mission is designed for everyone who will be in high school (9th-12th grade) in August 2012. Meet believers from your own schools and work hard, side by side, in Christian service to your own local mission field. Just outside your door, inside the halls of your school, right next to you at work or on the team.... that's your mission field! MI Grad's .... we have a place for you too! If you graduate HS in 2012, you can still be a part of MI5. As an MIG (MI Grad) you will be held to a higher standard, in training to become the next generation of MI leaders. Yours will be a seperate team and part of your week will be dedicated to mentoring the middle school students at the St. Lukes base camp. Get ready for intensity! Register Now!

College Internships Application

MI5 is going to work with CIA. This year Mission Interact will have select opportunities for currently enrolled college students to apply for paid internship positions. College Interact Agents will work full-time (24hrs a day) for either the HS or MS mission. Candidates will be screened and interviewed. If selected, mandatory training on July 14 and commitment to before and after work is required. Learn more and get the application here...

MI5 Middle School
July 25-28, 2012

BASE CAMP - St. Luke's Lutheran.
With the goal of encouraging Christians to interact through every year of their middle school experience, MI5 will host a 4 day, 3 night mission camp specifically for you! Only students in 6th-8th grades in August 2012 can register. This means rising 5th graders will have a chance to work alongside Christians in two older classes in their schools, and all will be strengthened by fellowship and leadership throughout their middle school years. Volunteer to Lead

Invest yourself into the lives of Christian students for a week. You will come away blessed and your time and talents will be put to good use working shoulder to shoulder and heart to heart with the next generation to lead for Christ. Register early so we can begin the background screening process and have you approved in time for the mission!
